Welcome to VitalToolsShared.org, Home of the Vital Tools Computer Clinic!
The Vital Tools Computer Clinic is an education, helping, and production organization.
We welcome you to the Thursday 4 pm – 7 pm in-person computer and electronics clinic at the Cambridge Public Library near Harvard Square, 449 Broadway. Come and join us and learn all about computers, including setting up and maintaining systems, backups, networking, security, email, creating and using websites and helping people with computer problems. We also have an electronics class, to help you understand what makes computers work.
We welcome beginners and advanced people– please join us!
Please email adamfrost@computerCareandLearning.com or call 617-522-1049 to get on the email list and learn all the details.
You can find us at the silver tables to the right of the main entrance. There are several convenient transportation options located nearby.
People and companies donate computers to us, and we completely refurbish them. Anyone in our community can get a computer from us, donating $50 (for people without much money) or $125 (for people with some money). Our computers are industrial-strength Windows 11 machines with 8G of memory. These computers come with Boston’s only lifetime warranty– as long as our clinic is alive, we’ll take care of the computer for you.
Everyone is welcome to come and learn about computers, bring their computers and computer questions for help, and volunteer in helping set up computers to make them available for our community. We have an ongoing potluck for nourishment—please bring some food to share.
Please call or email Adam Frost with any questions: 617-522-1049, adamfrost@computerCareandLearning.com
You can also get Zoom help using your computer, and lots of other computer help, by coming to our weekly Zoom clinic on Wednesdays from 5 pm – 7 pm.
To join, please call Adam Frost at 617-522-1049 or email us at: adamfrost@computerCareandLearning.com
